Asthalin Rotacaps contain salbutamol (also known as albuterol) and are used for the relief of bronchospasm in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Rotacaps are small capsules filled with powdered medication designed for use with a Rotahaler. When inhaled correctly, the powder disperses into tiny particles that quickly reach the lungs, providing rapid relaxation of the airway muscles and easing breathing difficulties. Asthalin Rotacaps are a convenient alternative for patients who have difficulty coordinating inhaler puffs.

To use Asthalin Rotacaps, remove one capsule from its blister pack and insert it into the Rotahaler device according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Twist the Rotahaler to pierce the capsule, then inhale deeply through the mouthpiece to draw the powder into your lungs. Hold your breath for a few seconds before exhaling. Do not swallow the capsule or its contents. Always check the capsule is empty after inhalation; if not, inhale again until the powder has been fully consumed. Use the Rotacaps as prescribed by your doctor—typically one capsule when symptoms occur, up to four times daily.

Side effects of Asthalin Rotacaps may include tremors, headaches, nervousness, muscle cramps and a fast heartbeat. These effects are usually mild and temporary; however, if you experience chest pain, severe dizziness or an irregular heartbeat, seek medical attention immediately. Patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid problems or diabetes should use Asthalin Rotacaps cautiously and under medical supervision. Avoid exceeding the recommended dose or frequency to prevent unwanted side effects. If you find yourself needing your rescue medication more frequently than usual, consult your doctor, as this may indicate your asthma or COPD is not well controlled. Proper inhaler technique and adherence to prescribed preventive medications can improve long-term respiratory health.
